The match was inevitably called off at 8am on the Sunday morning: the long-predicted rain had already arrived, and the forecast was for it to continue to rain for the rest of the day. This indeed turned out to be the case.However, the driving rain was not enough to deter the hardy running community from tackling the Chiltern Chase, where Club members Jon Allen, Martyn Johnson, and Dave Perry all clocked impressive times.
